How many times can you watch a rerun of your favorite show?

Do you have a favorite show that you could literally watch in reruns for years, before you got tired of it? Are there certain episodes that are so funny they make you laugh out loud? Or, do you watch shows once and then get tired of them forever? No reruns for you! As for me, one of my favorite shows is Frasier. You may remember him as that obnoxiously funny guy from Cheers or later the spin off show where he was living in Seattle. Either way, it was a great show. Funny thing is, I never watched the show until the last season. That meant over ten years worth of episodes to watch in reruns. And, you would have thought that after watching all the rerun seasons I would have gotten tired of them, but I didn't. Most days I can watch the same episodes I've seen seven times before and they're still funny. I never get tired of that show. I guess everyone has a show like that. What's your favorite rerun show? Everybody loves Raymond? Roseanne? Criminal Intent? Which shows could you literally watch a hundred times in reruns and never get tired of them?

I can only watch it a couple of times. Either that, or I just get a dvd of it and play it when I wish. I don't wanna be bombarded by some of my favorites to the point where they become annoying. Luckily I don't have to worry about that kind of thing with most of my programming selection. Heh.

I've gotten into the DVD habit lately and it helps, cause I don't have to watch the commercials that are often associated with network TV.

Yeah, that's sort of what I meant as well. Most times when I watch specific episodes of my rerun shows, I haven't seen them in a while. But, overall I've seen the same episode maybe four times over a three year period of time, just not recently. That would be funny however, if I did actually watch the exact same show, day in and day out. My little kid does that kind of thing. She can tolerate the same movies/shows played again and again and again.

If I’m in the mood I can watch reruns- If there is nothing else on- I’m still watching Everyone Loves Raymond- but really they are not reruns to me- I didn’t watch them all during the regular seasons- I also watch Roseanne from time to time- I haven’t watched it in years- so they don’t seem like reruns.

If its something I really like...CSI, Law and Order, Golden Girls, Roseanne...I can watch it over and over. What I like to do is put it in and listen to it while I'm stitching. AT PEACE WITHIN

Hi there. Depending on how good a show it was, I will watch a re-run, especially if its funny and makes me or my family laugh out loud... Theres nothing wrong with watching re-runs...

We watch reruns at night when we are going to sleep. I set the sleep timer and we fall asleep to those. We used to watch Cheers and Star Trek. My wife watches reruns of Charmed and Law and Order during the day when she is working around the house.

I totally hate re-runs and seldom ever watch them. I don't like to watch or read something like a novel I have read before. I would have to be totally bored to consider that. So rarely rarely rarely do I ever watch re-runs or movies or re-read a book except the bible which I read and often find something new. The exception would be something like the very old series of Beverly Hillbillies, Or I Love Lucy or some of the really really way back in the 50s, 60s and 70's re-runs and epsisodes I don't remember or never saw. Those I would consider watching.

I have never been able to watch movies twice, it's just too boring for me. However, shows like the simpsons, family guy, etc, I can watch lots. I think this may be because they are only short 20 minute episodes.

I do get a bit fed up with re-runs although one or two of them can still make me giggle. I used to love M*A*S*H and could happily watch this again
