What's the best tasting diet bread?

Lately, I've fallen off the diet wagon and my weight has definitely suffered. Not that I had much choice. Our truck has been in the repair shop for a few days and so it's been hard getting out to buy diet food. However, now that things are just about to get back to normal, I'd like to resume my diet. But lately, I've been craving lots of carbs. Maybe I'm having carb cravings because I haven't been eating so well. Whatever the cause, I'd like to have bread! But, I know that bread isn't the best food for someone on a diet. I'd like to try the diet breads, if possible. But, it's been years since I ate any. The last diet bread that I had was that thin diet bread from Weight Watchers and it didn't taste that good at all! Does anyone have suggestions on a really good low calorie or healthy bread that someone on a diet could eat?

The flat breads, like pita, tortillas, rollups and the like offer very low fat/carb content and are very satisfying... there are many, many flatbreads, and they can bought almost anywhere... or made at home (easy and fast)... commercial diet breads can cause some problems, as they can make a person feel hungry, meaning that they can make you eat more than you really should. Flatbreads can be adapted to almost and sandwich or snack recipes and they are truly a universal food, being present in many forms, for almost every culture on Earth for thousands of years... it's real bread, just flat, that's all! :) LOL! Here's a bunch of recipes: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/southbeachdietrecipes/South_Beach_Diet_Recipes.htm And hang in there! :)

Hi!Well, when on a diet, the Whole-Wheat Bread, is the Best. Also, preferably toast a litttle than eating it raw. I would advise you to take care to use a proper diet for you not to have any later issues.Ensure that your body gets the proper nutrients....proteins, vitamins, minerals etc.I have known many going on crash diet & later developing other issues like ulcer etc.Let your diet comprise salads, greens, fruits, soups, etc along with a brisk morning WALK.I am sure you would achieve your goal in no time.Wish you All The Best! GOD BLESS!! www.creatingcolourfulfuture.com
