I do not prepare anything at home. It is my wife who prepares breakfast for me, my son and for herself. I take care of preparing my son for school. By the time, he goes out, I am ready to go and it is my wife's turn to relax and have her breakfast while watching morning shows in tv.

In most Hindu families, wives take care of the preparation of food, even if they are going out for a job. Thanks and have a nice day.

It is great to have a wife like yours who is always there to prepare your food and you as the good provider for the family.

Lots of different stuff. my fiance and I both share the cooking.. really he probably cooks more than I do.. but we prepare all different types of stuff. sometimes rice with steak & gravy. or spaghetti and garlic bread or lasagna.. meat loaf..shrimp.. crab.. tonight I am making fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. and the kids are begging me to also make mac-n-cheese with it too (just like KFC! lol) so I am doing that for them as well.. dinner time is time for us to all be home and finally together so that is when we have a nice meal for us and we all sit at the table together.. during the day my fiance works and the kids are in and out playing and with school starting its all just crazy in the day time. so evening is more settled and so we always try to prepare a meal for the family at that time.

For breakfast I usually prepare simple breakfast. Previously I cook heavy food but now my husband doesn't like eating so heavy early in the morning. I agree with him so now we only eat cereals with milk. For lunch I often prepare white rice with assorted side dishes. The dishes are including chicken, fish, beef and vegetables. For dinner I usually prepare soup or something a little more light than lunch.

For breakfast, my family normally eat bread with some kind of spread or cereal with milk (coffe for me). For lunch and dinner, it's mostly rice with a vegetable dish,a meat dish and a soup. On some other days, I'll cook fried bee hoon or fried rice or macaroni .

Hi Misterplus, i am the cook in my family. i prepare what the family wants. whatever is the mutual choice or which ever dish scores more votes, is cooked. we never have same or repeated things everytime. we love to have a variety. we take sandwiches, fruit salad, juice / milk whatever is the choice of the person in the breakfast and then steamed rice with soup and veggies and yoghurt in the lunch and something light in the night. we generally take care of taking a balanced diet everyday, so that we get all protiens, vitamins what all is necessary for us in the day.

I read from an article that broccoli is the superhero in the vegetable kingdom. It is a good source of Vitamin A and C. That is good..

Tonight we had ice cream! I am serious. My 11 year old daughter had her final soccer game tonight. It started at 6:30 so there is no time to make dinner, nor for her to eat it without getting cramps when playing (because she never gets taken off the field). Because it was the last game everyone went to Dairy Queen after the game. Though my daughter stayed away from the ice cream and had poutine instead. I had that new sundae in a waffle cup. So overrated. It seemed to be filled with more whipped cream than anything else, and the bowl was tasteless. Off topic, I know. I don't make dinners too often because of the soccer and Taekwondo schedules happening over the dinner hour. But if my husband is working days I do like to have a meal for him when he gets home after working for 12 hours. I will make a pasta dish or a meat & potatoes dish; sometimes I use the slow cooker and make it in the morning to make it easier. I pick up some recipes from allrecipes.com and the Kraft Kitchens recipe idea book which I receive in the mail once a month.
