We hear people talking about football star Michale Vick and his apparent agreement to pled guilt to the Dog Fighting and crualty charges. What is you suggestion for the sentencing? I have heard people talking about 9 months to 3 years and the NFL suspending him for 1 year to a life time suspension. What do you think is fair.

I think that a sizable portion of his assets should be taken and given to an animal welfare charity. All fines given by courts should be based on a persons' actual monetary value. As we all know $50 is nothing to some people but a lot to others.
He should have to attend therapy also and he should have to learn about the psyche of dogs and how it affects them to be made fight in this way.
After this an assessment should be made of him and then it should be decided whether he serve 1 or 3 years.
