Do you toss your baby up in the air and catch them?

I do. Nora thinks it is the funniest thing ever and it never fails to get her to laugh. I have been doing it since she was about 6 weeks old (when her neck muscles started getting stronger). She is almost 7 months old and loves to go high. I won't be able to do it much longer because she is getting so heavy but for now I will keep doing it as much as I can. I just love to see her smile and hear her laugh with glee.

This is a fun and great thing to do however, you have to watch whose doing it. Make sure you know the person is fairly agile and strong. Otherwise, I've seen cases where babies have slipped and fallen to the ground.

My oldest used to love being tossed up high-she's a daredevil in training. She wants to be a race car driver! My youngest daughter would cry if you tossed her. She liked being held up high, but you didn't let go of her or she'd freak. My 2 youngest (boys) loved it as well. I can still toss my little one because he's such a peanut. I love the gales of laughter-it's so infectious and makes me laugh!

When I have a child, I'll certainly do that if I could be a good tosser =D. I love seeing a kid's laugh when someone does that. Do you think it will help them not to be afraid of height?
