Do you write poems or novels? please discuss here!

During my high school year i wrote poems but not really long, i wrote just for fun specially when i want to impress my crush. I think its one of expressing feelings for others and it feels good even the one you dedicated that points is not interested reading it. I wrote also poems about everyday life the struggle, but sad to say when we transferred to our new home i cant find where it is. Now maybe i will try to write again, " Poems are made by fools like me but ony God can make a tree" from the poem by joyce Kilmer if Im not mistaken " Tree "
