How did you Know?

With DID, ou actually do not know you've dissociated. So, how did you find out? What was your first reaction? Are ou taking any medicines right now for it?
I dissociated it seems last saturday, if not because it was my psychiatrist that noticed it, I wouldnt have known. He wont give me the exact details because he says it was too surreal.

I have done this alot in my life due to early trauma.
My understanding is people do this when they can't handle what is going on around them. What does your psychiatrist say?
