she is blind - has been all her life- she told my husband and I a story I thought was cute and wanted to share it. She said when her dad was alive and was driving home (with her in the passenger seat) he accidently went through a red light and of course a cop pulled him over-- the cop said you just went through a red light- and her father said well officer she was driving...he looked at her and realized she was blind and he started laughing and let them go...LOL.
Did you ever get pulled over and have such an off the wall story for the police officer that he let you go???

LOL - that was a cute story! Have to admit now - I have actually never been pulled over in my life (what a goody-two-shoes I am!) - but I hope I could have had as quick an answer if anything like that ever happened to me!!

Maybe they just don't pull us over so much here! They just rely on their damned speed cameras!!!

Heck no- I always say I’m going to come up with something- but I think fright does funny things to you- I am always scared when I see the lights- and see the police officer walking up- I never get out of tickets- I usually say something really dumb!

Back in 1971 I was coming home from the army base (Fort Devins) I was speeding and saw the cruiser coming up behind me. I was still wearing my uniform (Green Beret) and the cop looks at me and said that if he ever caught me speeding again with out running over those ..... .... Hippies the would throw the book at me.
