I don't use a screensaver because they are annoying when I am playing a game and they suddenly pop on.

Yes, we started school on August 20. We have 258 students enrolled. There are 97 in the guys dorm, 118 in the girls dorm and 44 village students. This is a good enrollment. Our dorms are set up to hold 120 students in each dorm. Imagine living with 118 teenage girls. That is what I get to do since my wife is the girls dean we are required to live in an apartment attached to the girls dorm. It is always exciting!

Oh goodness Greg, you must get all the drama that goes along with that too, if you can handle such a great guy you must be, most can't.

I have one that is broken and cannot figure out how to remove it. I like seeing screen savers on other computers when out and about, but find them annoying and distracting for my own computer.

If my son is grounded from the computer we put the screensaver on with a password that we all have but him. Yeah, meanie that I am. He tends to be grounded a lot for his mouth and nastiness! Generally though we don't have one on.

I use a screen saver with no password. At the moment only my daughter & husband use trhe computer as well as me, & I trustthem completely. When my step comes back, I may have to think about having a password.

Right now I have a screensaver of rotatiing waterfalls. I sometimes use an insect one which shows butterflies on flowers and stuff like that.I dont use a password on the screensaver. But I do have my mail and other things password protected. My older daughter, as old as she is, is very nosey. I've got the Astros Craig Biggio as my wallpaper right now. Sigh, that will end soon.

I have bad experiences with screen savers. It always crash the application I am running in office. Besides, many times, I realised the screen saver make the computer too drowsy and it just refuse to wake up. LOL. Hence, I disable screen savers. I prefer to use the computer as and when I like it without having to restart again. However, I have set the screen saver to activate after no activity for continuous 5 hours.

I don't use anything, texas, since I live alone and hardly anyone else uses the pc. Occasionally one of the grandkids will ask to use it when they are here, but that's about it.

My screensaver is all the photos on my computer. There are 100's, so it's very neat. I change my desktop background all the time. I usually change it, at least a couple times a week, or more. I just pick a picture that I like looking at and put it on there. It keeps my otherwise, boring, but extremely aggravating life a little bit pleasant.

Yeah, I have a laptop too, but people have a tendency of lifting up the laptop and working on it, too often in my house. Thanks for responding, it is truly appreciated.

My screen saver is the pictures I have on my compter. They rotate through until the monitor shuts off after so many minutes. My kids like it. They will sit and look through the pictures that are scrolling through.

I have no screen saver. I use to use them but they just bothered me a bit. Seems like no matter what computer I have or screen saver, it locks my puter up. So now I don't use them at all.

No, no screen saver here. I have it so the monitor shuts off after 30 minutes of inactivity. Everyone that comes into the house usually jumps onto the desktop if it is free. My son has his laptop passworded so that no one can get into it. He passworded the BIOS and has forgotten the password..now he needs to go into the BIOS to change a setting and can't. The only cure is to take his laptop apart and remove the battery then replace it so that the settings go back to default. And you should see what he has take apart to get that far. He made it half-way through this weekend and gave up...lol..that'll teach him..lol

Something similar happened to my b/f, he thought he knew the administrator password and didn't and then we went a week without his computer, an easy task for him, but it would kill me. Good luck with that. Be well, my friend!
