I hope that is totally wrong. Smallville is one of my favorite shows. I really need my periodic fix of Kristin Kreuk. I even watch the reruns on Saturday and Sunday from previous seasons. I would like to see many more seasons of the show. The show is really getting good and Lana has become such a strong character and I would like to see that developed even farther.

They have another season go to Kryptonsite.com it is my fave website for smallville you can get spoilers and stuff its great Highly recommend it!!! Just watch out I have been going to this site for years and they are very accurate with their spoilers so if youd rather not know whats going to happen next dont read them...

I really love Smallville. I have all of it on DVD and my brothers would tease how many times i made a cycle for each season...countless. i think i read somewhere that most of the big stars have a contract until 2008, however, it depends on how will season 7 turn out if they will be extended. i sure hope so. i even hope that it will have a 9th and 10th..:-) it has been a big part of my life, helps me with the drudgery and boredom...

So far, its just a rumor. The show is actually pretty big, but they will NEED to end it soon because it will start going into the Superman series soon. It actually should have started already, but they're changing things around and of course stretching the storyline out like crazy. It should do one more epic season with it hopefully ending in Clark becoming Superman.

They're mostly asking if they're going to set an ending date. Like some other shows like LOST, they clearly state that no matter what the ratings are they're going to end production on a certain date.

Thanks for that, very informative! Yeah usually in alot of cases if a show has very high ratings, there is just no way to continue a show because of the storyline. That sucks sometimes lol

I hope they don't cancel it anytime soon. I have always been a huge fan of this show and it just keeps getting better and better. I hope they will stretch it out as long as they can, because it is really awesome.

Yeah I hope they can too...but sometimes they just have no choice but to cancel it even though the ratings are great.

I have heard that this is gonna be the last season. I don't know if it's true but it wouldn't surprise me. Tom Welling is starting to look a little old for the part of Clark.

Yeah, that makes me feel better that I am not the only one that's heard that this is the last season but still I DON'T WANT IT CANCELLED!!! :-(

cancelling smallville? NOOOOOO!! i love to watch smallville, it's one of my favourite series! i don't live in the US, so we get tv series kinda late than in the US, but better late than never;) ..i hope they don't cancel smallville, love watching tom welling, as well as kristin kreuk! heheh..

Yes, the new season starts 9/27 so it should still be on. I just hope the CW doesn't give up on it half way through the season. Hopefully the ratings will keep it going.
But as for Lana, supposedly she was killed last season, I don't think she was, but we'll see. I also like the way her character has grown, she's a lot more interesting now, than when the show started.

Everyone calm down and go to KRYPTONSITE.COM it isnt cancelled and you can get all the goods on this and more shows on the site...
