Spending time on the computer.

Amen. I will have to agree with you on this one, for sure. My family and friends tease me all the time about being on the computer. But, I do not care one bit. I would much rather be on my computer learning, earning, or accomplishing anything, than to be nailed to a couch in front of a television set. I do not even watch t.v. Mine is not even plugged up. The last time I turned on my television was on my birthday on August 9th to see about the earthquake we had had. I am not a person who enjoys wasting time and I feel that a lot of people hate computers because they are to lazy to learn something new. Let them talk and laugh, while I learn and earn.

I either get made fun of or critized, it depends who its coming from. sometimes my husband does both. i admit, i am kind of addicted, but i still manage to do other stuff. i'm in the same situation, our town is small and there is nothing to do. i'm a stay at home mom and sometimes the kids are off doing their own thing so for me its watch tv or get online and try to make some extra money.

Hmm, well I've never been made fun of because of that, but I've seen where people get exasperated because other people are always on the computer and don't seem to do much else, lol.

I feel like that a lot. You can do so many different things with computers that you couldn't imagine. My boyfriend thinks his Xbox 360 is better than my computer and I'm like yeah right. Computers are one of the best inventions, but sometimes they can do too much.
