What would you do if your favorite social networking site were offline?

Recently, I joined another paid to post networking site online and had been doing pretty well, until today that is. For some reason, my new social networking site is offline for the day and that means I can't talk to my friends over there. I guess I wouldn't mind so much, except that they pay for chatting, uploading pictures and such. And, I could really use the extra cash right now. What a bother! So, here I am again, hanging out at My Lot for a couple hours. Don't get me wrong, I love My Lot. But, variety is nice, too! What would you do if your favorite social networking site went offline for the day? Would you hang out at My Lot instead? Where would you go?

I would be annoyed too actually. I belong to one site where I keep in touch with family and friends and I would be most annoyed if I could not long in for a day LOL I do have other sites I belong to that I can check also but its not the same.

I feel exactly the same way. For some reason certain networking sites mean more to me, these days for personal reasons.

I've never tried Classmates, do you think they are any good?

I have never tried Classmates either. I am a member of oldfriends.co.nz and bebo.com (which is more like myspace but better). I have met so many of my old school friends and family members, its a great way to keep in touch with them.

Makes me curious, whats the new site you're on Queenie? And if my favorite site was offline I'd probably just do something else, there's plenty for me to choose from.

It is so disappointing if my favorite social networking site is offline. I will try it sometimes until it works fine.
