Do any of you get or have anxiety?

I always feel that feeling like I've just tripped down some stairs - better then the past when I would feel like I was just about to be hit by a mack truck. No matter how happy I am I feel this - like I almost fell down the stairs - you understand this is an example - so you know how I feel - I didn't almost fall -and I'm not scared of falling.

These kind of thoughts keep on coming to my mind also. Because we see so many things in a daily life, we watch TV, read newspaper and listen to others. All the negative experience keep accumulating in our mind and the gradually turn out to be our apprehensions.

For many this is true. For some its due to a chemical imbalance in their brain, for some as a result of a traumatic event. Such as soldiers with PTSD -post traumatic stress disorder.

I have occasional episodes of anxiety, though it's probably a lot less than it used to be. I understand that feeling like you almost fell down stairs perfectly, though, because that is a lot what it feels like--a little bit of helplessness, and your heart gets to racing like you barely avoided some sort of accident. I'm glad that I don't have that feeling all of the time, but when it does crop up, it's sometimes hard to push back away.
