earning from blogging?

i read yesterday that there's this guy who owns 20 blogs and earns a six figure dollar income because of it. i have no doubt that he is telling the truth. i would like to know though if there are any of you mylotters who earn a decent income through blogging. how many blogs do you have? is the income at least satisfactory?

i've seen your blog and i think you do have some experience at monetizing :)
by the way can you please teach me how you were able to put all your directory buttons in neat columns and rows? i hate the way my buttons are starting to look disorganized

no no. i said in my post that there's this guy from pro blogger who has 20 blogs. i'm not the one with the 20 blogs. i have 2 blogs and both of them are still very new. i'm still developing them. you can check them out if you want

Well it is truth that many people are earning a six figure income through blogging. but wow maintaining 20 blogs by a single guy, won't you think it is tough work because you have to update all the blogs too.
Anyway i do not know about the mylotters earning a huge income through blogging but i know a lot of bloggers like john chow, darren rowse from problogger.net, amit agarwal from india etc...they are earning lot of bucks through their blogs. I am too a blogger but not such a successful, you can say that i am just a starter.

thanks for dropping by beeteljack. yeah the blogger i was talking about with 20 blogs is from pro blogger but i forgot his name. sigh. it's such hard work. i enjoy it though but i'm just not sure if i can be good enough to succeed. well, best of luck to us :)

There are professional bloggers who earn annual income in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, through monetizing their blogs.
This high income bloggers are the super minority among the hundreds of millions of bloggers out there. But it is not realistic for the majority of us to think that we can earn good money and lead a comfortable and easy life by just blogging.
Those professional bloggers have been around for many many years, they are good writers and/or expert in computer language or website design. They posses certain niche skills which are in demand.
I was personally inspired by Daren Rowse of ProBlogger.net but can never reach his kind of blogging income or popularity. I've been blogging for about 6 months and my domain is at www.betshopboy.net

yes this is very true. i don't think i'll ever become a real professional blogger. it's not easy and the popular niche topics are so boring (sorry). i think for some time i'll just be blogging for fun unless i get hired as a professional blogger or something

JanMags, its really interesting to know someting like this.. earning money from blogging.. well i'm sure you kow something about this.. honestly.. i really dont know much about blogging.. and i really dont know how can i earn money from this.. can you guide me.. can you give me some tips on how i can blog and earn my earnings from it.. what can i write about and how do i promote it.. how can i invite more people to visit and create the traffic.. and who is the one pays me?

I manage 2 blogs and I get like 100$ per month (the blogs have like 2 months and a half) but the trick is get traffic, more traffic = more money, but you should blog about something you like and enjoy. If you blog just for money you will get bored and wont get nothing.
