Gifts exchanged in a relationship

gifts - We give from the soul to the soul...or do we? is gift giving supposed to make us feel better about what we deserve to receive? Or is it about what others deserve?

we give to give, to make someone happy. i feel very happy if my boyfriend eats something i gave to him, which i think is very tassty. it is my happiness.

Yes, i give to receive, but not to receive the same, or another gift, but to receive a bit of happiness from the person i give - the smile that comes with the excitement of opening a gift is simply precious and simply can't be replaced with any material gift.
