Bee Pollen ,a true gift from Mother Nature, contains many essential nutrients. Pollen is the male germ of flowering plants. As bees forage, the pollen mixes with nectar and accumulates in yellow granules on the bees'legs. It is an excellent nutritional supplement for enhancing immunity and, with its strong nutritional profile, for providing energy. It contains up to 35 percent complete protein, as well as 22 amino acids, an especially rich storehouse of B vitamins, 27 mineral salts, trace elements and several enzymes. Greeks called it the "nectar of the gods." Many performance and endurance athletes use it before workouts and competition.

Not sure exactly what it is or how manufacturer's process it, but I think bee pollen is a product that bees make from the pollen they collect before they turn it into honey. The product you buy in stores usually looks like little yellow freeze-dried pellets. People eat it because it contains a lot of vitamins and other things that can help you lose weight, have more energy during the day and generally improve your health. I tried it for a while and I felt really good taking just about a gram a day but when I increased my dose of it to a few grams I got really sick.

I know all too well about bee pollen because I have studied it when I was in college. Yes they do exists. They are accumulated pollen from flowers that bees gathered to feed their queen. Bees don't only gather nectar from flowers, they gather pollen too. In fact, pollen is called food for royalty in the bee community because only their queens got to eat. The workers can eat the honey. Bee farmers gathers the bee pollen to market at a much, much higher price than honey. It has plenty of therapeutic benefits and is used to manufacture antibiotics, cosmetics, etc. Bee pollen is a very good source of energy too. SO if you're feeling tired, pop some bee pollen and feel the difference, or so they claim. Bee pollen comes in capsule now a days for easy consumption. Hope this helps. Give me a PM if you need more info about bees, or products from bees. Cheers!
