number 1 is right..there's no such thing as perfect..let me tell you this..:

Its very true. Sad part is though some of us (I'm included) still try to do everything to make ourselves better and possibly closer to perfect, but in our heart of hearts we know it does not happen. The thing is, I want to go into a relationship and have in my mind "what can I do for you", and my mate respond to me with the same emotions. (I've been seeing less of this though and more of a "what is she gonna do for me" or "what's he gonna do to make me happy", "me-me-me".) Maybe I'm wrong (on one or both counts) but eh its what I've observed and what I believe.

you've got a point in there..me too,,..i always try to be better for my special someone..its not because i want to look perfect,but i want to be a better girlfriend for him..and i want to prove to him that i deserve his love..

MY dear, no body is perfect in this world. Everyone has got his/her own plus and minus points and traits. You will also have some plus and minus points in your nature, so we should accomodate others, with their positive and negative traits.
