dog in hunger strike....

Not much information here and not eating/istlessness can be from so many different reasons! You don't say where you are at, but my dogs haven't eaten much this week either, because of the extreme heat and humidity around here. The food's been untouched since about Monday, but they are both still energetic (at least for geriatric gentlemen LOL!) and acting normally. Dogs can also be depressed, especially if there have been any changes in your household. I know mine will act like that next week when my two oldest girls are gone to college-they miss their people!! But a new job or other change can cause the kind of things you're seeing. So can a sore mouth. Dogs can get tooth troubles any time. I think if I were you, I'd call the vet for help sorting it out.
