What would you do if you got three hours off in the middle of the afternoon?

Well, my little kid and spouse woke up early this morning. And, like the sweetheart he is, my spouse spent the morning taking care of her and keeping her entertained while mommy got some extra (much needed) sleep. So, by one PM both of them were tired out and decided to take a nap. So, now I find myself alone in a big house, with nothing to do but cleaning, reorganizing and posting on My Lot. Of course, I could update my websites, which is probably what I will end up doing. But, it's nice to get one minutes break from all the noise. I wish I lived closer to friends, so that I could just call them up and we could go out to do something fun like mall shopping or brunch. So, what would you do if you got several hours break in the middle of the afternoon? Would you go grocery shopping? Would you post on My Lot? Would you take a break and watch your favorite soap operas? Or, call a friend and go out to do something fun?

Honestly as much as I've been working lately I would just go to the pool and lay out without having to worry about having my daughter as a tan line lol. It's been far too long since I've been able to just lay out in the sun.

Oh, I was wondering where you were! I missed you! Last time I heard you had gotten that new job. Well, I hope everything worked out. Sounds like some good things have been going on with you. Good for you! Let's chat sometime. I miss my friends when they go away for too long.

All of those things depending on my mood! I try to spend a little time on the computer when I have a free second- there is always cleaning to be done- a lot of times I will hang out with friends- Shopping- lunch out- and I also have 1 week of soap operas to catch up on- Oh how I wish I had a couple extra hours today!

My son still takes naps every day, so I do have about 2 quiet hours every afternoon. My husband works nights, so I suppose I could leave the house if I wanted to, but I never do. If I have a deadline for an article I work on it. Otherwise I spend some time online doing whatever online work I feel like doing. Sometimes I take a nap if my son got up earlier than normal that reason, or if I was up exceptionally late the night before. Sometimes I even just spend some time reading a book or magazine. :)

I would probably go off and do something at the mall, surf the net or even just laze around the house in front of the tv munching on chips or cookies LOL I did that yesterday when my son and hubby took an afternoon nap after we played at the playground, and shot hoops and kicked a soccer ball around. I ended up watching a movie on tv while they slept. It was actually nice to sit through a movie without being interrupted. I did eat a lot of munchies though LOL mostly popcorn!

I would just get out of the house. Even if I really did not go anywhere but maybe the closest store to look around. It is so nice to have some me to do what ever you want. Take advantage of it.
