Lets Save Us Some Frogs

Frogs everywhere are being suffocated by a deadly frog fungus called Chytrid fungus. It has killed over 80% of the frogs out there causing a frog crisis. Many aquariums and zoos are getting together and hope over the next year to do some conservation work to help perserve the frogs you can check out this effort at http://www.amphibianark.org/
Frog are the indicators of our environment since they absorb lots of things (water, air and any chemicals that happen to be there) through their skin. As goeth the frogs , so goeth the environment. What do you think about saving the frogs?

I am so sorry I don't have a fully operational paypal account (paypal has just accepted members from my country, and we can't yet receive or make payments). Otherwise I would have donated something. It's not just amphibians we must help, but all the animals. After all, they are suffering because of human invasion in their natural habitat...
The sad thing is that most people won't do anything, even if it doesn't cost them anything. I have created many discussions on signing petitions to save the environment, but 7 of them don't have a single answer...

People don't really realize how much danger we have put our ecosystem in. I support the San Diego Zoo every year (they do a lot of conservation things) and the Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans who also does a lot of conservation. I try to help out however I can.

There seems to be a lot going on with the creatures on this earth, Aurone. Something has to be wrong. For some time now I have been hearing about the disappearance of bees; then it was birds; and now frogs! It is really mind-boggling. I do believe that all the creatures on earth have a reason for being here, and when they are starting to just disappear, I have to wonder. People a lot smarter than I have tried to figure things out. Yes, I would like to do what I can to try and save the frogs.

I'm sure it's something that Greenpeace and other environmental groups are working on, so don't worry. We're going through a similar situation with the honey bees. They found out that pesticides are rapidly killing them and they are worried that with no bees, pollenation cannot happen and then our crops will suffer.

Well I am always committed to saving nature, animals and the environment, in any way I can, so I would definately do all in my power to save the frogs. I have read before how they are the barometer for enironmental change and pollution. Luckily there are loads near to where I live, so I guess that means that my stretch of the River Thames is good, and pollution-free, but there is always room for improvement. I wish these people good luck with their work.

SAVE THE FROGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm definitely all for saving the frongs. Save ALL animals! You know, if they quit killing the poor creatures for students in middle and high school to dissect, that would help save a lot of them. i always refused to do dissection becuase it is against my moral beliefs. Especially in that setting. Unless you are becoming a biologist and have an honest REASON for dissection, is is a disgusting waste of a beautiful life.
