We have a lot of friends, family, relatives, neighbors that's why i always write down and save phone numbers in case i needed to contact somebody and for emergency purposes also. Do you think it's wise to save all the phone numbers you know? Do you also do the same thing?

Phones with memory banks are ideal for this. That's where I save my phone numbers. Then I do not even have to dial those numbers. Great avatar. I've found that people who hug their dogs in their avatars are especially nice people.

Yes, even if I don't know someone and they give me their number I put it in my phone right away so I don't lose it.

yes i do save the phone numbers of the persons with whom i keep contact. actually it is not possible to remember all those numbers especially since we save all frequent contacts on the cell we are no longer prone to remember phones. I maintain a seperate dairy for business contacts and home contacts.

ya i save them both in my phonebook and my mobile phone.you never know about human memory.they fade away with time and it can betray you at anytime.i never trust my memory also. and we have the tendency to forget names and these are numbers.how long can we remember those?so its better to keep a backup.and its really easier to save them in cell phones.you don't have to write it down also.so i make it a point to save them in different ways.so that if i miss something others can help me out.even i save those numbers whom i call up frequently.i think thats a safe habit.

Yes its wise to save all the phone numbers of people you know because you'll never know when you will need to contact them. Yes I do the same thing, I saved all the numbers of people that I know of in my cell's phonebook.

i save a lot of phone numbers because you never know when they will come in handy one day. plus i am too lazy to look up the number in the directory so i prefer to just save them on my cell or write them down. and also if someone texts me, i hate having to ask who the person is and having to wait for the response before launching into proper communication.

I save but for men's number only need frequent calling because do not save because mobile phone pilfering or snatching in our country is much so if or after lost of mobile with SIM other people can get women's number and may disturb so I keep it printed on a small piece of paper and keep in my pocket. I answer all calls come to my mobile and when call see the printed list have in my packet.

Memories are unreliable, you may mix up the last digit of a number, the person may move, and so you need to write them down, either in your address book you can take along with you, on your cellphone contact list, or in the address book provided by your email. It is only common sense for you to save your contact information so that you do not have to ask the operator and possibly pay a fee because you could not remember the number.

Hi claire03! Yes, I do save all phone numbers because a day may come when you will be needing them one way or the other. As for me, it is wise that you save all those contact numbers just in case something will come up and it is them who could give you answers or will be of great help. And in return, if it is alright with them, thay can save my number too just in case it is I who they would need at one point in their life. take care and have a nice day!

Dear, thats a good idea about saving the number at your contact list. You may need those in the case emergencies. You'l get its benefit when you have some function or something which needs to be informed to everyone. Better save them and have its backup at a place and i'm sure they'l prove its importance.....this thing will help you out.

Yea I write them down, or use to. I usually have a phone with a number-recorder or I manually enter numbers into phones, cellphones, pdas. I know its sad to an extent but I have to remember so much and do so much I find my self braindrained at times. Add that to the fact I'm not much on short-term memory
