But, I didn't want to order a large pizza!

Today while I was placing the online pizza order from Pizza Hut, I noticed that they've changed their online menu, so that "large" size pizza is the default size that you receive. In fact, if you want any other size of pizza, you have to go out of your way to specify that. So, I almost ended up getting two really large pizzas, when I only wanted two medium pizzas. I suppose if I hadn't double checked my order that's what I would have ended up with. And, in my opinion, I just don't like the large pizza, for some reason, it doesn't taste as good as a medium. Have you noticed that when you order online, they automatically try to push you into ordering the larger size? Or, keep popping up that annoying screen asking if you want extra chicken wings? Do you find it annoying or truly helpful?

I have no problem with large pizzas. Usually my pizza leftovers are very welcome the next day even cold. I am a pizza addicted :) But I understand your point. If you are not willing to eat that much and pay even more it is not fair that they don't make it clear that the pizza is a large one.

I don't have a problem with large pizzas either! Shhh! It's our little secret. Costs a little bit more and the local pizza place makes better medium pizzas.

Ok, is this where I get to say "that's what you get for ordering from pizza hut!" I have never ordered on line, in fact I don't even remember the last time I ate Pizza Hut pizza. But I'm sure they do all that stuff just to get you to spend more money. Me, I prefer the neighborhood mom and pop pizza joint. A little more honest and WAY better tasting.

oh can you order on line , I will have to check that out here in Australia. Just down the corner from my place this little pizza shop was taking a long time to start up and I though wow how cool is that walk down past 6 houses and there is a pizza shop, I couldn't wait, it took them about 12months to do up the restaurant...well it finally opened...they sell Gourmet pizza's, twice as expensive as pizza Hut and all the other pizza places and you can only get Large and mixing ...which means I can't even go halves with someone as I am a vegetarian and all my friends are not...I must check out id Pizza hut has an on line order here...

I have noticed that type of thing going on here also. It's not only annoying but puts you off ordering your decided menu and puts you in a fluster on the phone. I got so many wrong orders that I don't order in any more, I go out and take away. Brightest Blessings.

I have never tried to order pizza online- But I hate it when you call in and they pull the same stunt- Chicken wings?? Heck even McD’s does it- Would you like a hot apple pie with that?? If I wanted it I would have ordered it! ARGH!! So yes it bothers me- but I have grown to expect it.

I absolutely love pizza so I can't honestly say getting a large one would bother me...just more for later. I've never found a difference in taste but maybe that is something with where you order it from? Have a great day!! AT PEACE WITHIN

haha I get the same problem as well and I do find it annoying. I wish they had a small size too because when my husband is away and my son and I feel like pizza, we can only eat a few slices each and then I give the rest away to my neighbor. Sometimes I do save it for the next day but I find that its only me that eats it and the rest just goes to waste.

I've ordered Pizza Hut online about twice now and I do go through at least 3 times of clearing my order. I'm mad they don't have prices beside anything. You have to go through the whole order. I haven't seen the popups about the wings unless I just don't remember seeing it.

at this part of economy every time makes the same tricks. If you go to a pub and asked a glass of juice and you think 2 dl juice - they bring 3 dl, because you didn't specify how many juice you want, and of course they bring the bigger because it's more money. I want to live the day when people don't want to be rich in 5 days and don't sell low-quality things, and recognize the real and long profit comes with high quality products and services.
