Accuracy of the page views counter

Just noting that after the last update on Associated Content I was scrolling through my list of articles and how many views each had received...oddly two of them in the middle were listed as 0 views...yet both have comments left on them by people..ha ha. So, I guess that shows how accurate the bonus view pay counter thing is.

I had one like that, too. Two comments, yet no page views. Interesting! Right now I'm just happy to get the page view bonus now and then.

I meant I'm happy to get the page view bonus in addition to getting paid for the articles.

I'm not fond of this beta update business either. I LOVE the wordpress statistics.

Yeah, they tell us that the page view counter is still in Beta, and I definitely believe it. I've got a bunch of newer articles that were published about a week before the page view update, and some of them have no views, when I also know that people have viewed them. Well, I can't complain too much. I've been on AC for long enough to remember when we didn't know our page views at all, or get paid for them, so even the Beta version makes me happy! :)

I think many people have had this problem this update. Personally, I have one article that I know was viewed at least twice (as two friends read it and discussed it with me) - but that article still says 0 PVs. I think perhaps they did the calculations, then waited some period of time before actually doing the update. Who knows. Guess we should be happy we aren't waiting a month for each update still.
