Was it before or after defeating the Phillistines that David brought the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem?

(b) It was before defeating the Phillistines. (1 Chronicles 13, 1 Chronicles 14)

It is possible that at least one account is not arranged chronologically. Even history textbooks today tend to be arranged topically.
