When it comes to manga, I prefer to buy the actual book. I like having the whole collection lined up on my bookshelf. As for doujinshi which you can't usually buy in the US, I prefer reading it online. It's less time consuming than downloading it. I have a lot of it downloaded as zip files and saved though, since they weren't available to read any other way. I guess this way has its advantage because that way, if the site hosting the doujinshi ever gets deleted, I'll still have a copy.

i read manga online but may download it if the manga is in my favorite list. basically, to get the interest of a new manga you should just read it online because it might be not worthy to use up hard disk space and spend ur time downloading all the files that will end up in thrash bin. my manga resource; onemanga.com..

I download manga. I can't help it, I don't have any internet connection at home and when i read manga in net cafe's , it takes time and cost more money. So downloading it is faster and reading it at home cost less and can stop anytime.

Well, I kind'a do both since internet connection sometimes gets cut off. I read them whenever they are ongoing or complete on some sites I go to and download them when I think I should, probably the long complete ones since I'd wait for them to be complete if its still on-going, kind'a gets you hanging when your left with to wait for the next volume to be scanlated. Try: mangahut.com onemanga.com mangavolume.com or just type the "title of the manga" then add "online manga" on and search engine in the net and some results should come up and get you in other sites that have the manga you want to read in case they are not available with those that you usually go to ^_^
