Do you like your name?

I hate my first name. I just don't like the way it sounds. My first name is not very common but it rhymes with another name or nickname that's more common. I've never liked it even when I was younger. But the funny thing is that if I changed it I would have no idea what I'd want to change it to. My middle name is ok but I never ever use it so it would be really weird to just start using it. So I guess I'm stuck with it. Thanks a lot auntie :( (my aunt named me)

This is my second time responding to the discussion for dislike first name ownership. But I agree with your firm reason. What about if I suggest for your first name, Suzie? For me I like my first name with no question ask about it.

Yeah I hate mine as well. It goes with my middle name but it is such a common name and I hate it. Lori Ann. How plain could that be. My daughters name is Jessica but she likes spelling it Jesyka. At least she can change the spelling. Mine I cant. Oh well I have gone my entire life with it and will keep it forever.

I've never my first name, I've always gone by my middle name or a variation of it. My mom named me after her best friend who was a woman but had a BOY'S name. I got teased about it so much growing up I really came to hate it. I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours...LOL

He he nope! That's too bad about the teasing. I was teased too but not because of my name.
