This is a crucial question to consider. Have you, or I, ever broken any of the 10 Commandments? If you are hazy on them, I will list them briefly: 1. Don't worship any other god but YAHWEH, the LORD God. 2. Don't worship any image of anything. 3. Don't take God's Name in vain. 4. The sabbath (or Shabbat) is for rest. 5. Honor your father and your mother. 6. Do not murder. 7. Be faithful to your spouse (don't commit adultery). 8. Do not steal. 9. Do not lie. 10. Do not covet (or wish for) the things of others.

From the 10 commandments given to Moses in the OT, I broke them all. And our Lord Jesus Christ summarized it into 2 in the NT: Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, mind and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself. But still He (Jesus) sums it up all to this: Love one another, as I have loved you.

Very good comment, ReyM! That's so true, Jesus did sum up the 10 commandments as "Love one another, as I have loved you." How simple and yet so profound those words are! Thank you very much for your comment :)

Hello ASL19741978, yes I have, only Y'shua, (Jesus) was perfect and didn't break the commandments.. In the NT, the 2 new commandments Y'shua gave was, Love the L-rd your G-d with all your heart and Love thy neighbor..If you follow those 2 commandments, then you don't break those commandments. The first 4 show your love to YHVH and the other 6 show your love for your neighbor..

Hi, CarmelAnirel! :) You are completely right in what you said: 1. Y'shua was/is perfect (sinless) and never broke any of the commandments of G-d. 2. In the New Testament, Y'shua said that there are two commandments that fulfill all the rest--loving YHVH with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength; and your neighbor as yourself. He said these fulfill (or complete) the whole Law, and if we do them, we will never disobey the 10 Commandments because they are actually a high law of G-d (I'm sure we have no idea of the perfection and degree of holiness G-d expects--Thank G-d that He sent His Only Son, Y'shua, to be our atoning sacrifice for sin, once for all time! How lost we would be without His blood washing away our sins!) 3. I really like that you pointed out that the first four commandments concern our love for YHVH, and the other remaining six show how we should show our love to others (or our neighbor). May these things be true in our lives as we strive to obey and live for G-d the Father through our Ga'al, Y'shua Ha'Mashiach!
