Dog constantly chewing up toys for toddlers

I have a 8 month old lab whose always scrounges the ground looking for toys that she can chew. She has her own toys and she has rawhide. What do you suggest we do to get her to stop chewing our 3 year old daughter's toys.

Here are 2 things. They both will work.
1. Beat the dog.
2. Put tobasco sauce on what ever you don't want it to chew.
You may disagree with these methods but if you would pay attention to the dog and clean up after your child you wouldn't have this problem.
