Does anyone here sell on the blujay auction site?

I joined this auction site almost a year ago. I'm finding the sales quite slow and I'm wondering how anyone else is doing there. The trick is to advertise, as everyone seems to go to the well-known auction site. I still sell there, but have my items listed in several sites as well. Some good, some not so good. http://prettypelican.blujay.com

I have tried Bluejay out but there is only like 3 other people in my city that also sell there so I don't get anything out of it. Maybe in a few years the site will get larger (craigslist grew substantially in only a few months) and I will give it a shot again. As for right now I almost feel like I am wasting my time there. Though I really like how the site works. It is just as good as Ebay but without the costs associated with it!

I would hope that most would keep their prices down, as there are not the high listing fees, but there are some that won't. However they just won't get the sales. Thank you for your comment.

I think Blue Jay was ok but now I think kijiji is the best and it is free.

I don't use that auction site, but I did check it out and it seems that people are trying to sell things for like retail or even more than retail on there. I saw this one auction that normally goes for around $350.00 and the guy was trying to sell it for $800.00!!! That is freaking crazy, he will never sell it for that much. But I also seen other auctions that are well priced for the product they were selling. I think it is a good site for sellers since there are no fees, but not very good for buyers since most of the prices are to the max of what you would want to pay, or you could find it on eBay for cheaper. Those baby booties you have on there are so cute, lol. Did you make those yourself? I have only made purses, necklaces, rings, earnings and a pillow before. :)

I agree that some keep their prices rather high, but I think there are still some good buys there. And thank you, yes, I do all the crocheting that's in my store. I haven't done much this summer though, but with winter coming I'll have lots of time for that. Thank you for your comment.
