My old basketball shoes is wornout and I need a new one. What do you like and suggest, Nike or Adidas? What do you think in terms of support and cushion? I've purchased both brands in the past. Was very disappointed with the lifespan of my Adidas. It didn't last over 1 year. The leather just tore. To think it fit really well on me. I was a Nike user before the Adidas purchase. I find Nike too overpriced for the amount of technology I'm getting. I think most of what I'm paying for when purchasing a pair of Nikes is the advertising. Kind to suggest? Thank you all!

well, i would suggest merrel shoes however it's much more expensive than that of nike and addidas although durability wise, i think merrel is the shoes for you. my brother uses them and i tell you it really is durable. when it comes to shoes especially rubber shoes, my brother has very "heavy feet" which makes the soles of his shoes wear out easily. with other brands, his shoes would only last for a few months but when he tried merrel shoes, it lasted for more than a year. try checking out merrel at the malls though it's not as fashionable as nike shoes, maybe you'll like it.
