Nope. I haven't experienced having my avatar similar to another member's avatar since I am using my own picture. It is good of you for not blaming nor feeling bad about the new member for having the same avatar as yours. But I suggest that you use your own picture as your avatar. It really helps in some cases. Just like mine. I had an account months before which was hacked. I had $59+ for the month of January as my earnings there. I was so down and low that time because I thought I had lost my earnings which I have worked for. But luckily, I happen to upload my own pictures in "my photos"., which gave me an idea to get a new picture of myself to tell mylot admin that it was really my account. So, I opened a new account (this account), uploaded more pictures of myself.. and I even told mylot admin that I would even present myself in a live web cam conference to prove that it is really me in the picture.. So, it happened. I was able to receive my earnings.. though mylot advised me to open another account, I'm still happy for that.. My old account was ( www.mylot.com/meeming ). Best of luck to you!

YOu have to have your picture or pictures taken by you as avatar. If you have adopted from search engine or any other site, probably the other person woul dhave done the same things.

Not a big issue as its can happen but nice topic for discussion. now we knw hw to safeguard the existing profile' img image avatar from the various response. anways your current image avatar is more nice.

I also noticed this, that your avataar is being used by another user also, however, I could not find time to write to you. YOu can go back to previous avatar or search for a new one. Your log in name is unique, so it is not going to make any difference for your friends...I will continue to interact with you, irrespective of the picture in avatar. Think it over cooly and calmly, it is not such a big problem. Have a nice day! :):)

Don't worry about your avtar, you can find many different cartoon figures on the net - the other person may have inknowingly chosen tweety. Even if you stay with the same avtar it does not matter because it your name is unique.

I have known this to happen to a few people. The important factor is whether the member has copied the avatar from one of your discussions, or has simply acquired it from another site on the internet. The vast number of members at Mylot makes it quite easy for 2 people to use the same avatar by accident. If your avatar was taken from the internet and therefore public domain then it is available to all, although intentionally using another member's avatar is certainly not the right kind of behaviour.

it could be he has taken yours or perhaps he is also a fan of tweetie;)i know one user who shares my avatar though her is not a moving one on discussions. i don't mind that because on the big world of internet i can't blame someone;perhaps she found it on the same site as i did:) i think nobody is going to get confused because of this but if you feel like changing your avatar you should!:)

I would also feel the same, I would immediately change it to another one.My officemate who is also a mylot memeber had the same problem, she was a new memeber but she saw someone an old mylot member already using the same avatar as hers.I was the one who discovered it and I informed her about it but i was not sure is she changed it and she felt uncomfortable because she was afraid the owner of the avatar might get mad. It was an avatar like two cats sitting on a bench or something like that. I hope you were not that person.
