Hunting season is coming soon and my hunney's already getting ready for it, he's quite excited too.:) he's an avid hunter, he always go hunting every year. He will start practicing archery for bow hunting next week and he already have a hunting permit. He really likes hunting, he has his own hunting room in the house which has all his hunting things and clothing. When he went hunting before, He got a really big buck and he mounted the deer in our basement wall. I am not so much about this because i hate to see a deer dying but he said that they have hunting season here because the deer population is really getting bigger every year( they are like mice that are just everywhere ) and if they don't stop it they will just flood the whole country, they also cause vehicle accidents because they instantly cross the roads. Hunting is his thing so i just support him with what he enjoy doing. i can't go with him hunting but i can do the fishing. hehehe... if you want to see the big buck he got before just look at the pic i posted here. it's really pretty and it looks really alive.

I think hunting for fun and pleasure is sick. How can anyone enjoy killing a living thing especially when it's for fun. It's such a primitive and macho thing to do. If we hadn't wiped out the predators of deer there would be no need for hunting them down, it's just an excuse to go and kill animals.

erm.. i don't know what to say . i am sad to hear a buck being shot at point blank . I love all animals but since it's legal in your area then there is nothing that can be done. I have nursed a deer after it's antlers got caught between the fences for a few days but let it go back into the wild after it's head was getting better , but anyways kudos to you for not partaking in this. i share the same feelings for animals as you .

It was wonderful of you to nurse the deer back to health. Take care.

Grats on the Buck and good luck with hunting and archery. Kinda fun when you get the hange of it. You can also use crossbows too, just throwing it out there. Oh yea, and where we live the deer did have an explosion of population. I was able to see it before (those deer were scared and now they are pretty bold/unmoved). This summer not so much. Maybe autumn they'll just pop up again.

My uncle loves to hunt, I don't, but that's just me. But congrats to him.
