you ever have someone talk to you, but instead of looking at you they look beyond you so they can admire their reflection in a piece of glass or mirror, and by the way they keep tilting their head - lifting their chin etc. you know they are admiring themselves? sheesh, ignore your beauty for a moment and suffer my countenance while you speak to me!

That's funny to think that some people are so in love with how they look, and they're always looking at their own reflection. I've never noticed anyone trying to do that while they were talking to me though.

see? - maybe they can not help but turn to their own reflection, heh.

picture is taken a few days after c-section birth of child, as we were leaving the hospital
LOL, perhaps you are not quite as repulsive to look at as myself. hehehe. my husband does this a lot! boy does it aggravate me, my 5 year old did it to me this morning (she is terrible vain) ironicly my face just gets uglier when I get upset about them doing this!

My brother used to be really bad, always looking in the mirror and combing his hair. He was worse than any girl. It took him so long to get dressed because he had to keep looking in the mirror. I avoid the mirror as much as I can. I only check to make sure nothing's hanging out of my nose or I have something stuck in my hair.

haha, sounds about like me! nothing hanging out when it should not be - no funky gunky on the teeth and I am good to go.

I've never seen that before. I do know that, if you get too close to me and are too much "in my space" I tend to back up and away. Also, I have never been one to look you in the eye when you are talking to me...I tend to look at your face as a whole or your mouth as you talk...just not directly in the eyes...insecurity, I guess.

I also look to the mouth when talking with someone, because I rely on that to understand what is being said. I can hear, but have a difficult time distinguishing words, especially if there is background noises. I met some one recently that I have corresponded with online for awhile, I had such a hard time understanding anything she said - we were in a church basement and there was a social gathering, lots of noise and when she spoke she barely moved her lips.

Hi Modestah! I have encountered several people like that. Sometimes it annoy me and sometimes I just shake my head and just ignore them. These kind of people are narcissists and are in love with themselves. I think if something happen to their face or their hair, they are going to be depressed big time. haha..Take care and have a nice day!
