Do you use powder or liquid dishwasher soap?

I use liquid stuff to wash dishes. It is so wonderful to keep the oily dish plates so clean. I also use it to wash my oily hands sometimes. Of course I have liquid soap to wach hands.

I prefer the liquid soap myself, just because it is easier to use and dissolves more quickly. It does cost more though. Another thing I found out is that the lemony dishwasher soap is bad for some silverware and will leave rust spots on them. This happens whether you use liquid or powder. I am using powder right now because I ran out of the other but now I don't use lemon at all, even though I do like the scent.
