Well a girl can dream, can't she? Don't you wish they made them? Of course there's no such thing as a healthy bacon cheeseburger, but it would be nice if there were! I've thought about trying some of the soy vegan versions of bacon cheeseburgers, but not sure if those would taste good at all.
If anyone finds a healthier version of the bacon cheeseburger or figures out how to make one, I'd really appreciate the info.

Well if you can cook the bacon and drain a lot of the fat off that's part of the battle. There is also lean and lower sodium bacon you can try. Getting some leaner ground beef will help, but there will always be a percent of fat. Steaming your burgers may help too and if some grease still shows up get rid of it. Use a lower fat cheese or maybe a cheese that gives you good nutrition. I've tried parmesean and swiss, I thought they were fine.
And there are also smaller potions. Make mini/bar burgers or make them smaller and without the bread. Just put the bacon and parmesean (or cheese of choice), make sure they are in fine bits so you can mix it and get an even mixture. Make many bite size amounts of the beef/bacon/cheese mixture, about the size of a coin if they are alone, or if you are doing bar burgers, a handful. Steam them if you can, or if you have trouble fry them and try to avoid using excess oil. If you've got something that strains the oils out while cooking now's the time to use it.

Oh, that sounds yummy! I will try all that. Very good ideas, as usual.

LOL- bacon cheeseburger healthy?? Never- not a real burger anyways- there are a lot of ways to make it healthier than normal- Use 90% hamburg- use turkey bacon- low fat cheese--- and layer it with fresh veggies- tomatoes, lettuce, onions- I love burgers- the juicier the better! And that juice means fat!
