I like to use the Ivory brand Lavender scent soap bar. I like Ivory brand as it is mild and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. But they used to just have the Ivory white bar of soap, no fragrance...then I found the Aloe one, and it was better than just the plain white one, THEN a lavender one came out! YUM! I love lavender scents. This bar of soap doesn't dry me out, and I feel clean afterwards, no residue like some tend to leave.
What brand soap do you use? Do you use the body washes or bars of soap? Do you use washclothes or those scrubby scrunch puffs? Do you use an exfoliator? Or do you not care, buy what's on sale, and as long as it cleans who cares, type of person?!! HaHa!!

I have seen the lavendar Ivory at a friend's house. I stopped using regular Ivory because I don't like how it makes my skin feel. I prefer a soap that has a moisturizer in it.

Oops, forgot to add that I use a regular old washcloth. I have used the scrunchies but don't care for them.

that's why i stopped using the plain ol white ivory too, it dried me out and just felt yucko. but the aloe was a total improvement and the lavender is even better! i think they have added more moisturizer or something.

I like Ivory too! because it is mild soap. I even use it for my face. And when I take a shower, I use Ivory soap. because when you put on your Perfume, It last longer.

I like buying handmade soap from craft vendors or from the company LUSH. I don't have sensitive skin, but I fing that the homemade soaps ofteen leave me feeling celan and I love the secents that you can get. I am currently using a Rosemary mint soap that smells great. It's really fresh and jusr wakes you up in the morning!

I seem to like Dove soap as its quite good for my sensitive skin and doesn't leave it all dry after showering and such. I use washclothes (only because I have plenty of them) and also have scrunchies on my bathroom cupboards. I have a cleanser that I use on my face several times a week - feels nice after I use it and then apply a moisterizer!

I really like lavender too but I have never tried the Ivory brand. I usually buy the Yardley Olde English Lavender soap.
I also have body wash and shampoo in lavender, lotions and body mist sprays too! Lavender is supposed to be a relaxing fragrance.
I have only ever tried white Ivory, and all I remember is that it left a soapy film layer on the water in the tub.

yep, the white ivory DOES do that...well maybe not anymore i haven't bought it in awhile, but i remember what you're sayin! so glad you love lavender too! i love it, and i think it is pretty relaxing! i use it on my son, his baby shampoo and such. then i like smellin him, haha! but it's good before he goes to bed i think! you might try the lavender ivory sometime. buy the 3 pack, or maybe the samples sometimes they sell at grocery stores? i like it. i haven't tried the yardley one. i may have to look for that one!!

Like twilight, I'm also a bit fan of handmade soaps. I like these because it can be easier to find soaps that are more natural and less likely to irritate my skin or dry me out. Sometimes this can be more expensive than buying commercial brand soaps, but I feel that it helps me then spend less money on lotions and other things to make my skin feel better. When I do buy soap at a more commercial store, I will use LUSH. Mostly, I like milk based soaps that are really creamy.
I do occasionally use body wash for shaving and I use a poof in the winter to get rid of all my dry skin. I also like to use soaps with oatmeal in them because that not only helps exfoliate, but also helps with the dryness again.
