Bloggers are like bad karaoke singers?

Zainuddin Maidin, Malaysia's information minister, compared the nation's internet bloggers to washed-up karaoke singers who have no influence after people turn to cyberspace to discuss politics and social issues. Zainuddin urged Malaysians to read mainstream newspapers for their news and accused some unnamed bloggers of attention-seeking. Two bloggers are currently being sued by the government-linked New Straits Times Press for defamation. What is your opinion on this?
