Should you keep sales circulars for more than a week?

Do you keep sales circulars for more than a week? Do you find that they help you decide where to make a purchase? Or, do they just end up making you want to buy stuff you hadn't planned for?
Most times I keep a grocery store sale circular for up to a month. Even though the sale prices are no longer valid, I find it useful to keep grocery store sale circulars so that when it comes time to fill out a grocery list, I can see all the items I might need, whether or not they are on sale.
And, just four grocery store papers from our local Albertsons or Winn Dixie gives me an idea of what the store sells and how often the same items go on sale. That way I am not fooled by their bogus sales.
So how long do you keep sale circulars? Or do you throw them out immediately? Do you find that they make you a better shopper?

Well Beauty, I look these circulars and see if there is something that I need and has the right price, and place it on my shopping note. We do our shopping usually twice a week and than we use my note to buy the items on it. So I do not keep the circulars for more than a few days.

Sometimes I simply keep the circulars, (especially the annoying ones) out of habit if for nothing more than to line the cat litter box! It's my way of recycling.

A few days at most. As soon as I have gone grocery shopping they are thrown away. I only glance at them and if I see something I think we need then I make a note of it and then throw it away or should I say recycle the paper.
