No sound

are you using a separate sound card or your are using a built sound card?, first check if the sound driver are properly installed. if you are using a built-in sound card it's driver is also included on your motherboard CD installers. if you lost the drivers try to locate your sound card's name and download the appropriate driver for your sound card.

hi, kneeshka, i think u r from india? which city are u from? ok, u have bought a new pc and its sound is not working. Don't worry about it. Have checked ur speakers and whether its wire is properly connected with the Pc, if yes, then checked the sound driver is properly installed. Otherwise it would be a great problem. i am from india and people call me vinoo_love at yahoo site and i am in comp hardware. I think is a problem about the drivers of your sound card... try to reinstall! else if you don't have sound driver is available a generic audio driver for windows is called avrack... look at this page: http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/ac97.html When i formatted my pc i had the same problem, installing thi tool i resolve this problem.
