I mean I can look for anything I want, it's so great.
First I wanted to learn guitar, without spending any money, and I found the perfect site.
And yesterday I was watching an episode of Bones, and there was this really great song in it. I didn't know the title of the song or the artist, so I just googled three words, bones episode music, and I came across this site that gave all the tracks used in each episode. And I found out that the song was "pride" from syntax, so then I looked for the mp3 for that song, and just downloaded it and now I'm actually listening to it. It's awesome, everything is available on the net.
So really, it only took me a half hour, even less, to hear something I like and then look for it and have it.
Of course other than that, it's always so great and a very inexpensive to talk to your best friend, who is in some other country, everyday.
And then you can make new friends, like-minded, sharing the same interests as you.
I love it. Just love it.
Of course, I am well aware of the cons of the internet too, so you don't need to remind me of those.
I believe that if you put it to good use then you will get good things out of it, and likewise with misuse.
Don't you agree?
So tell me of a story of what you were looking for and you know you couldn't have found it, if it weren't for the internet!

Internet is really great! It is really useful and convenient to use. I can find just about anything here. It is a powerful tool for research work unlike before that I have to run through pages of books and magazines. I can also keep in touch with my friends and loved ones across the globe through e-mail and chat. I also download old and new songs and hard to find movies through the net and also find lots of food recipes.

I totally agree. I love surfing the net and you can search anything out of the ordinary. There are even online jobs here, make a lot of friends on different networks and it is my routine to sit in front of the computer. It's enjoyable as well as educational.

yes it is great, I look up everything on the internet, do all my banking, pay my bills, read the news and talk to all my lovely friends on Mylot, what more could you ask for, the internet brings the world together and I think we are so lucky to get such a thing for free.

well the internet part is sort of for free but the company it goes through charges you, could you imagine how much the actual internet would cost if they tallied up what we really get from it, most of us wouldn't be able to afford it....

Yes, I like internet and I like to stay at pc but I think we can't stay a lot of time at pc because life is not only here. Internet is very good for working, joking and have a free time.

I'll give one small example.
I use www.imdb.com (The Internet Movie Database) on a daily basis. When you watch a movie or tv or whatever and you're like hrmm that person looks so familiar!? Why is that!? So you go there, look it up and Voila! figure out what movie you saw them in or tv show or whatever and why they look so familiar! If I didn't have the IMDB I'd go crazy.

yeah, I know what that feels like. You see somebody and you think where have I seen them before. And you ask everyone and no one seems to know. And it's just plain annoying and it really eats away at you, until you find out who it is. Yeah, that stuff can make you crazy. I'm gonna use that site you mentioned, the next time this happens to me.

It's the first thing I do when I get home from seeing a movie in the theaters, or I hop on while watching a movie at home just to find out who it is and what else they've been in! things of that sort. It's a great website, has everything you could possibly imagine and most all of the info requires no login and is completely free.

yeah i like internet too.......... i use internet for blogging ,chatting etc.. internet is the way using which you can easily see anyone ,anything in the world by sitting before your pc.so it's cool

yes,Internet makes us closer and become friends.it brings us information we need and we can't look up based on some books we have.I like movie and I don't need to buy a lot of CDs at home.Maybe after you watched a movie only one time,you don't wand to see it any longer.the best way is watching it on line.convenient and free!wow!

You know,some websites are free for us.However,you must pay and watch them from some websites. many movies from Internet aren't free.If you get a free website you get free movies.

dear vege83, I am really addicted to internet. On various occasions, I was able to help my friends on various subjects by downloading many information on technical matters. I do not have any interest in songs but modern technology gave us one boon that is INTERNET. I fully agree with you that you can get anything and everything from INTERNET.

Hi vega you have said right. Internet is just our part and parcel of life. I can even a think a day without Internet. Actually Internet has some very wide opportunity to help the mankind. But one should remember at the same time if used wrongly it can destroy many innocent people's wealth, they can become victims of some miscreants.
So we only should ask people to use the internet for the well being of them and also for the mankind. Internet is one of the greatest invention of science.

So do I. I mean you can do so much without even leaving the house which is great. And at times, it is much faster too. Not only is that good, but you can find so much information that there isn't much need to go down to the library for research or you don't need to go out as much as you can easily have a conversation with friends online. It is great and I love it too!

Ya, you are absolutely right . I am a programmer and I need Internet as i need food . I get immediate help at my finger tip. Not only I get information about programming I use Internet for entertainment .Now I can do money tranfer sitting at home through Internet without any paperwork .

What I love about the internet is when the kids come home from school saying they have a project on a topic and need to research it due the next day. No problem just use the net. Or if my daughter comes home saying there was a song she heard but didn't know the name or artist and just gives me a couple words to the song and poof I have it playing for her. But the best lately have been Facebook. My best friend when I was in grade 6 found me on it and we have reconnected after nearly 20 years.

The up to date news,fashional music,favourite programme,how to transmit to me,if there werenot internet.

The internet is indeed awesome. You can find anything about about anything. Its really cut down on research time. The internet was an invaluble asset while I was in school, don't know how I would of surivived without it.
I'm also a big comic book buff, and like how I can search for any character and almost instantly find a bio on that character. I did that with several of the action figures I collected, I did'nt know the names, but yet I searched for a while and found out what their name was, what year the figure was made, and all that good stuff.
The internet is defiantly a good tool, though can be dangerous if used incorrectly.

The best thing that I have found on the internet are the friends that I have made all over the world. There is no way that I would have found them or made friends like them without having the internet. That is the best thing about the internet to me is making new friends as well as keeping in touch with long distance family.

I am always looking up information on different songs. Sometimes I will hear a song I like on the radio and type in a few of the lyrics and come up with the title and artist of the song. I also use it a lot for looking up information such as driving directions, or just to get a general idea of where my new online friends might live. It is also extremely useful for me when I want to talk to one of my friends who lives a long ways away. I can talk to her online for as long as I want with no long distance charges. Email is another quick and easy way for me to keep in contact with my friends. There are many more things that I do online on a daily basis that I probably wouldn't take the time to do if I didn't have the internet.

hieee ha i love surfing net..!! will be always browsing some thing or the other get through the new sites which are usefull..!! Mostly i search for the information, regarding my subject... as am an architecture student can know lots and lots of infomation through net... very i just prepare for exams through net..!! its amazing with lots of information.. so can browse anything.. get through the new technology learn more and more in it..!!

I also love internet and it is a really useful invention. I can do a lot of things via it and even have a little online business. It makes the world smaller because it is quite easy for us to contact anybody all over the world easily. I can find many useful information and buy something online. I can't imagine one day the world will be without internet.

i love the internet too. wonderful source of information, any kind, any time. a whole bunch of great stuffs to download, softwares, movies, songs, and (lol) viruses too. making friends and communicate are a lot easier than before. in brief, i found internet really amazing.
