Did any third parties ever win a presidental election?

there are actualy many partirs here. No one other than a republican or democrat has ever won the whitehouse though. Ross Perrot,an independant (no party offiliation) came very close in the 90's. there are other parties represented in congress, several independents, etc. And there have been numerous goveners who have been neither republican or democrat.
