Guys this is a question which often lingers in my mind and in the minds of many young people all across the world. I am not trying to point out whether it is right or wrong, all I would like to know is - Should USA interfere into others matters?? Don't you think they are causing too much trouble for themselves by doing that? Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea and now Iran.....the list seems to be increasing. Should there be a change in the American foreign plan??

I've wondered the same thing. I support my country (most of the time, anyway), but I have increasing concerns about our foreign policy. It feels wrong to be trying to tell other countries that their ways of life and government aren't "right"-who gave us that right? It seems like there are lots of ways of governing that are different from ours that still can meet the needs of the people. Some say that we have the responsibility to help oppressed peoples, and I see some merit to this (the 'great power/great responsibility' thing), but we seem to be picking and choosing who to help based more on money and oil rather than on human suffering. Otherwise, why are we not thinking of "helping" some of the African nations where people are having such problems? I think it's sad that our foreign policy has gotten to such a state where even citizens start to wonder what the driving force is. We've strayed pretty far away from what is right, in my opinion.

Rightly said, its not wrong to help people who are in need of help, but trying to interfere in their internal affairs & also concentrating on countries that are of specific interest like oil, etc seems pretty senseless and also dangerous in the long run. I think the Government needs to be more cautious before taking decisions which have far reaching consequences! Thanks for your opinion.
