Mine is to be a children's book author. I love writing, and I love children's books. There's a sense of wonder about them that are missing from so many adult books. And, it takes more talent than people realize.

I'd like to be a non-fiction book author bringing forth titles that will teach, inspire, encourage and help people grow. I've been interested in writing about topics such as home decorating, parenting, writing and self-esteem. I'd also like to have a regular column for a major magazine of some kind. And, you're right, my goals require a great deal of talent (like yours).

So why don't you just write what you are interested in? Maybe you find someone who likes it and publish it!? You never know.... don't give up! If you have ideas and so on - do it! As long as you don't quit job because thinking it will work no matter what without knowing it really does work. Know what I mean?

I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. I have a book that you write in each year of your life (or each "school" year) and one of the questions it asks you is what you want to be when you grow up. Well ever since I could write, in that book I have been writing that I want to be a teacher. It is really cute to look back on that! I love kids and I always have and always will.

Well, my number 1 dream job has always been to own my Own business where people know me and Love to stop by just to say Hi!! and check out what is New. Even have others telling others about my space to where I become a big hit in the area as well. In time this is my Goal even, and willing to do anything and everything I can to get there.

My dream job is to be a curator of collections at an art museum. Preferably one with a large, varied collection, and one that is neat and organized and not a disaster when I get there.

I always dreamed of being a chef, but I guess money and opportunity has denied me from pursuing it. Well, I might not be a chef for now but I know that I can be someday. For now, I try to be contented on what I am at. For me, it's never too late to achieve the goals that I want to reach in life!;)

I would love to be 100% Freelance writer and work from home. I hate alarms going off in the morning and having to be at work at a certain time! Working from home and doing something I love (writing) would be so cool!

Well, my dream job is the same as yours. I love to write, have been writing since I was 6 years old. I would love to write a chidlren's book-- a book for older elemntary school children. Those tend to be my favorite books, even today. I don't think I would be very good at writing a picture type book for ages 4 to 6.

yes I have wanted to be that too. There is something so simple and so enchanting about a child's book. and there are some that are so sad. about children who feel left out. orphans who do not feel loved. my only problem is that i don't draw well. and a good illustrator is key. collaboration with one could make or break your series of books. i used to think roald dahl could have gotten a better artist to illustrate his books. but i guess those kinda ugly drawings have their own childlike appeal. after all, not everything in this world is beautiful.

I always wanted to become a social worker. But since it won't be possible for me for several reasons it will be forever a dream (job). After social worker there comes the dream to become a "trucker". But that's not very easy for a girl... especially for a girl like me... Guess I never will be what I'm interested in.
