do you use sunglasses to protect your eyes?

sunglasses were intially used as an accessory to protect our eyes.but now they have become a style statement.not just that they have become a trendy neccessity to wizen up.just look at the kinda big glasses that are out these days.and now even lenses are available to block out the sun's damaging rays.
so i just wanna know do you use sunglasses?if so which brand you prefer?and you use it as style statement or for protection purpose?

Most everyone I know where's glasses for protection and not style. The key is to get sunglasses that are stylish...so that you can kill two birds with one stone.
style + protection = Stylish Sunglasses.
My eyes are very sensetive to light... so I always wear Sunglasses. I prefer to pay less than 10 dollars on my sunglasses as I lose them and break them a lot. And I usually have 3 pairs at any given time.

hey i too do the same thing.i have lots of them with different styles and colors and all are bought from road side vendors LOL!!!!.they don't last for long so why to waste money on buying a branded one? he he he:))

Hi Exclusively_rinku, I wear my shades always when I go outside, nomatter day or night. And for me it is not only for the fashion but also against my heavy headaches. I doprefer Christian Dior's fashion and Gucci's and Versace's I love these too. So I am of both, protecting my eye sight, my headaches, and also a style statement :)

hello thefortunes i too face the same problem of migraines and i know how it feels.so i also always wear my sunglasses.i don't possess much with any particular brands.i always go for fashionable ones with low-price.but i love the ones of christian Dior and i have one pair of it.i don't use it much fearing it mught break.LOL!!!

I wear sunglasses all the time when I am outside as the sun is so bright it brings on migraines . Even on cloudy days I still have to wear my sunglasses which so many of my friends have always commented on but even on cloudy days I will get a headache when going outside without them . I have no idea what brand they are as they were a 20 dollar pair I picked up at Walmart and bought them because they were not for style but dark enough to block out the sun and rays that seems to cause so many migraines .

yeah many of us are very sensitive to light and even on cloudy days we get bright light and need to wear the sunglasses.i always wear mine as i have the same problem of migraines.

I use sunglasses when I go out in the sun. I cannot do without sunglasses. Not because it's fashionable but because my eye is sensitive to light. I cannot open my eyes in bright light. So, I use it to protect my eyes and it gives me comfort.

i have the same problem lavenderbloom.i am too sensitive to bright light.but as i am using it so why not see to the fashionable side of it.so i go for the trendy stylish ones.do you also buy such or you don't consider style while buying glasses?

Because I have astigmatisim in both eyes I must use sunglasses for protection when outdoors. My eyes are extremely sensitive to bright lights so if I end up outdoors with out sunglasses- its is just plain uncomfortable and painful.

hi warmweatherwoman don't you wear plain glasses for your vision? or your sunglasses have the vision correction.i too have vision problem.actually i am myopic.i came to know about such sunglasses and i am gonna try them.

yes, i wear sunglasses to protect my eyes specially from the damaging heat of the sun. i like to wear sunglasses if it's in season like usually in the summer but if just for the heck of displaying it, NO. i am not really picky with what kind of brand as long as it looks good on me and it fits me well.

hello claire03 same here.i too use to avoid the sunrays.and you know i think nobody looks at the brand as long as it is well-fitted and good-looking on you.so i prefer the fashinable ones over brands.

Yes, I do wear sunglasses/shades because there is so much of pollution & dust to be avoided and not just the sunlight.

hii galena i too use them for protection.like you my eyes are also very sensitive and i can't tolerate sunrays.but ya i mix up some fashion in it.i don't use just plain sunglasses.thanks for responding.

Yes, I do wear sunglasses to protect my eyes. It's harder for me to drive without sunglasses because I have to squint my eyes a little bit, they are really sensitive to the sun. But I still do want them to look good lol. I like the sunglasses I use right now, they look good and they work really well in dimming down the sunlight!

hey you know my bf has the same problem.he suints his eyes most often when out in sun.and i know its looks really bad.so its better to cover it up with glasses.you are doing fine lilyoftheThorns.just keep it up.

I often use sunglasses because my eyes are very delicate. I don't have a favourite brand, the important is that I like them. I use them with a protection purpose essentially.

there are lots of sunglasses . but few people wear it. it is cool but not popular here. i think it is because the sun is not very low and the style is not tended. i have a sunglass. but there is few chance to wear it out.

I use sunglasses for their intended purpose, to block the damaging sun rays from my eyes! I don't have a particular brand that I use, I just make sure that they block around the sides of the eye and fit the eye socket well. Some of the very large sunglasses stick out so far from the face that the sun is actually not being blocked.

i use sunglasses to protect my eyes ...i don't prefer a specific brand. i buy fake sunglasses as long as it will look good on me
