Another Question here!

Hi there and welcome to MyLot. The number next to your name is the number of posts you have made here. At the moment you have made 4 posts. Don't be alarmed if the number goes down suddenly - that will be MyLot admin doing some house cleaning and deleting topics that may not conform to the rules here. If you happened to have made a post to that topic and it vanishes then your post there will vanish too and your count will go down. When you reach 500 posts you will be able to attach a picture to your post and earn another cent. Have fun.

I see you have your answer so I just wanted to suggest something to you. It would do you good to read the "faqs", "terms" and the "guidelines". The links are at the bottom of this page in blue. You will find most of what you need to know about mylot and how it works there. I still check on them from time to time cause they add new things so often. And... ? ? ? WELCOME TO MYLOT! ? ? ?

That is the number of posts you have here. When you resppond to discussions the number goes up. You get one "credit" per discussion you respond to. You will probably notice that it stays the same when you start a discussion but don't worry, you will get the point added as soon as someone responds to it. Once in awhile though you may notice that your number has gone down. That means that something got deleted for some reason. It may happen if you post something that violates guidelines but also happens if you respond to a discussion that violates guidelines because that whole discussion gets deleted. It really has no "purpose" oher than to keep track of how many posts you've made. You can also go to "users by rating" (in green leter at the bottom of the left column) to see what page you are on in comparison to how many posts have been made by other users.
