How do you cook your eggs? Do you like them poached, scrambled, boiled, etc?

I like to scramble my eggs. Towards the end when they are pretty much done, I mix in some cheese and sometimes I cook them with meat. Add the right amount of salt and pepper. I also liked boiled eggs, any kind of omelet, and that is about it. What is your favorite type of egg to cook? do you do anything special to it?

I absolutely love them basted meaning cooked in water and butter and garlic . . . but if i have too soft-boiled is fine, scrambled is tolerated and fried, no way ! Oh and then there is the mushroom garlic and cheese omelette ! cannot forget about those but then I need corn beef hash, 2 slices of bacon, rye toast with grape jam, a glass of oj, coffee and of course a side of sausage gravy and an order of blueberry pancakes ! When I eat like that folks, I don't eat again for almost two days cause all of it in one sitting gently nourishes me throughout ! Love that breakfast food but never at ordinary breakfast time ! sharing the light, Erica, the Enlightenment Advisor, M.A. Transpersonal Psychology Studies Counseling/ Author, Artist, Photographer & Freelancer http://www.gather.com/enlightenedpsych2

I like scrambled eggs for sure. It's even better to mix it with cheese and mushroom. Sounds familiar? That's right, Omellettee is my favourite, especially a cheeze one :) But I don't like having meat in it, because I do not like to have meat.

That sounds very good. I pretty much always put cheese in my scrambled eggs. I'm not sure if I've had mushroom in it, but that sounds so good.

I like omelettes. Preferably with cheese. I also really like soft boiled eggs, although I rarely have them.

I love deviled eggs too, especially around the holidays. It is never enough and sometimes I'll buy a small tray for me from the grocery store. Those are yummy, thanks for your response.

How do I cook my egg? It depends if I am in a hurry just fried sunny side-up or scrambled with onions. If I want it really special I make an omelet with cheese, tomatoes, onions, bacon bits, salt and pepper. :-)

I like my eggs as an omelet the most. I also add in cheese and meat with a little bit of diced onion. Sometimes I make brocolli and cheese omelets. I also like fried eggs with salt and pepper alot. I thought about something the other day, though. Eggs taste good, but just to think of where they come from makes me sick. I can't imagine someone eating the eggs that my body makes or vice versa, so why the heck do I eat chicken eggs?! I still eat them, though :D

I feel you completely, it is very gross what we are actually eating, but I feel that way about different meats as well. But eggs are very good and cheese and broccoli omelets sounds so good.

I like to take fried eggs and bacons or cheese plus tomato omelet for my breakfast. Very often after deep stir fry the onion I then pour the mixture of well stirred eggs, soya sauce, pepper on the fried onion until the mixture is well cooked. It can be served as a regular dish for meal. I do like to prepare some egg sandwiches for 4 o’clock tea as well.

My favorite egg recipe is stir fried with tomato. I never really fancied sunny side up because my father never made my egg that way. My father will cook the tomato very well first until it becomes like a sauce and then pour the beaten egg in the pan. The tomato sauce and the egg blend together as he mixed them non stop until the egg is cooked and it just tastes so heavenly.

I like simple scramble by using onion and salt. I lonely take three eggs for scramble. In India most people likes boiled egg due to its simplicity.

You and I eat our scrambled eggs exactly the same - we've obviously got great taste! =P I love fried egg, cheese, tomato & pesto/basil (and salt & pepper) on whole-grain toast as well. It's so tasty!

That doesn't sound bad at all, I love eggs and I can eat them many different ways. I'll have to see about trying that. Thanks for your response.
