Would you prevent a family member from receiving medical treatment, if it conflicts with your beliefs?

No, I would never let my beliefs (religious or personal) interfere with my family members wishes. My step-mother is a religion that doesn't believe in medical treatment for ailments. I had to ask her exactly what I was allowed, or not allowed to do, if something should happen to her where she would not be able to communicate her wishes to us. Although it goes against what I was brought up to believe, I will follow her wishes because she's an adult, and this is her choice and the way she wants to handle it.

No, I think it stupid to still follow your religion belief when it comes to medical treatment. If getting medical treatment will save the person, he/she will get the medical treatment. If it was for my hubby or my children, I dont care what others say about beliefs, they will get the treatment.
