If Jesus was really God, why did Satan try to tempt him? Doesn't he know that that God can't sin?

Hi ajarca. Yes Jesus is G-ds son and satan tried to temp Him because he also was the son of Mary, a human. So I guess satan was hoping that the human side would fall just like Adam and Eve did.
