Frank Lampard is and has been the best midfield player in the premier league for the past 4 years.
The only real challenger to his post is Gerrard, who let's face it only shines because he plays in a mediocre team. Look at who Frank plays alongside, and relise he still shines in his team.
Lampard scores more goals, plays more games, wins more trophies, makes more passes.
The only thing Gerrard does more than him, is get sent off.

I don't agree with you. Gerrard is more creative than Lampard, though Lampard is more direct. He gets most of his goals because he goes ahead and shoots and goalkeepers are caught unawares. That is the reason why Lampard struggles so much in international games. Gerrard on the other hand is very creative and can create as well as score goals.
Both are great players no doubt.
