I know this is old and you prbably have gotten some help by now. but next time I would recommend the salvation army. they help a lot with utilitiy bills and at least can direct you to a local place to get real help.

I am still listed on these sites. I made the misteke of believing an e-mail sent to me recommending mywishnet apparently alot of the people listed there got a similar e-mail saying this person got no help from the free sites but she got it there right away. It is suposed to have been endorsed by Oprah and had a good story on CNN but we can't find anything on the net to verify it. If you think about it it would be an easy scam ..just go to the free beggar sites and target all the desperate people there. I would suggest sticking to the free sites and post you pages on every free classified sight that you can find. I also wouldn't expect much either I have been looking for help for about 6 weeks and no-one cared enough to donate even a dime. I poured my heart out abandoned and shred of dignity I had left praying I 'd get help and not one person wanted to help, but they would help someone who could afford to pay their own shopping credit cards off. Good luck to you whatever you decide to do
